DESCRIPTION:  \nPlease join us Thursday October 8th\, 2020 at 7:00PM for a VIRTUAL candle lighting ceremony to honour those who have sought hospice care and to express support for future care options in our community. The online ceremony will include readings about hospice care\, live music and lighting of votive candles in memory of loved ones we have lost. Her passion is wellness and helping others find balance in their lives. Ana brings both personal and professional experience to caregivers in the community\, providing one to one consultations\, dementia education\, and strategies for prioritizing self care to enhance the caregiver’s role.

Kristina understands the importance of providing guidance and protection for your loved ones through an effective and clearly written last testament. In October 2018\, Kristina was elected to serve the people of her hometown of Milton as their Ward 1 Councillor and has been active in community advocacy and policy as part of her new political role. \nIn her free time\, Kristina enjoys spending time with her husband\, Chris\, their four children\, and basset hound\, George. She is a travel lover\, jazz music fan\, and an avid baker and hiker.

DESCRIPTION:Webinar Description:\nCOVID-19 has changed the way we experience and grieve the death of a loved one.  We may not have been able to be by the bedside\, families and friends can’t gather to mourn together\, memorial services are postponed.  In this webinar we will explore how COVID-19 complicates how we grieve\, look at strategies to cope and explore ways to find meaning through rituals. \nFeatured Presenter: Nina Page\, RP\nNina Page has been a pastoral\, palliative volunteer at Allendale Long Term Care for over 20 years and in 2012 accepted the position of Chaplain. Nina was ordained a Vocational Deacon in the Anglican Church in 2012. She studied at the Toronto School of Pastoral Care and was accepted into the College of Psychotherapists in 2016.  \nIn 2016\, Nina started as a volunteer co-facilitator for Acclaim Health’s Spousal Loss Bereavement Support Group and was offered a permanent part time position as a Bereavement Counsellor in 2017. Since then she has been part of the team of Hospice and Bereavement Counsellors at Acclaim Health and in 2019 was invited to be a Bereavement and Spiritual Care Counsellor.  \nNina lives in Milton with husband John and 2 “Furbabies” They have two sons\, 4 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren.  \nNina is an active member of the Milton community.  \nREGISTER NOW
