DESCRIPTION:As the pandemic shifts to endemic\, each of us continues to adapt to change: in our workplaces\, in our homes\, with our family\, friends\, and co-workers. Join Ana Nunes of Acclaim Health as she delivers tips\, tools\, and tactics to help us thrive amid adversity. Together we’ll reframe our collective experiences to help foster adaption and resiliency\, acknowledging this is “not business or life as usual” and learning ways to incorporate wellness practices into our daily lives. \nFeatured Speaker: Ana Nunes currently works as the Wellness Care Manager and Educator at Acclaim Health. In this position Ana provides consultations\, education and robust community programming with the help of volunteers\, with the goal of strengthening individual wellness. Her background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology/ Sociology with post graduate studies in education\, geriatrics\, health and alternative complimentary therapies. Ana has worked with both children and seniors as a teacher\, health care professional\, Dementia Educator and Caregiver Counsellor\, with a particular interest in palliative care\, dementia\, bereavement\, life limiting illnesses\, caregiver support and mental health. \nPLEASE NOTE: The presentation will not be recorded for future viewing and will only run live on the date/time specified for registered attendees. \nYou will be emailed a zoom link once registered. \n\n

Villy and Lauren are Palliative Care Nurse Consultants who work in Halton\, Peel and Dufferin\, focusing on building capacity of healthcare providers in providing a palliative approach to care.
